How Filter Floss Keeps Your Fish Alive

Filter floss has been around awhile and if you're losing your fish in your aquarium it's probably time you get some filter floss in your aquarium's filter. Because of the irregular pores and gaps created by wadded up filter floss it will trap most of the particles and debris pumped through your filter. In addition the filter floss will help keep the chemical and biological media from becoming clogged.

The floss is usually sold in bulk quantities ranging from as small as 2 ounce bags all the way up to a ten pound box so the size of your filter really isn't a concern. You can physically cut the floss to fit your aquarium's filter so even the five gallon aquarium hobbyist can take advantage.

We recommend using the Polyester Fiber Floss by Loving Pets because of the ranging quantities available and inexpensive pricing.

Look at hot chicks and save a puppy...What's not to love?

Win-freakin'-Win! Now you can get away with looking at some scantily clad ladies sashaying their way down the catwalk and not get lambasted by your female significant other because it's an "exciting new effort to rescue and save sheltered animals from death."

On Sunday, November 22nd at the Hyatt Valencia Rescues On The Runway is having a wonderful dinner and holiday fashion show with special guest star "Lassie". (Which is a feat in and of itself because Lassie would be about 378 years old in dog years dating back to the original episode back in 1954)

While you are there enjoy a dinner, fashion show and hopefully become a foster parent or adopt a pet yourself.

And if, for some crazy reason, you can't make it there yourself you can always donate to the cause with some pet toys of your own which will be given to the animals rescued from the kill shelters. Here's an easy way to donate, the next time you get some toys for your dog grab one extra and donate it on November 22nd.

So if you're a male ask yourself this: Are you willing to donate some of your time to watch women walk around with super tight clothing on to save a dog? Your answer better be yes, for the dogs of course.

Feed Your Dog Vodka and Go To Jail. Who would have thought?

Other than looking very creepy, Jared L. Colony is a horrible dogsitter. Mr. Moron decided to give vodka to a 4-month old Puggle and it didn't quite go the way he planned. Instead of the Puggle being euphoric it had to be rushed to the vet where it spent two days barely surviving alcohol poisoning.

But on the same note we're talking about a Puggle for crying out loud, if any dog deserves a little relaxing it's going to be a Puggle. Have you seen these dogs before? Uuuuuuuggllllyyyy.

All kidding aside Jared will hopefully be spending the next two years of his life making license plates.

The New CareFRESH Complete Small Pet Food

So you have a small animal, and by small animal I don't mean a Chihuahua, what I mean by small animal is one of the following: Rabbit, Guinea Pig, Rat, Mouse, Hamster, Gerbil, and Chinchilla. These are the small animals I'm speaking of and these are the same small animals that just got lucky. Carefresh.com has just released details on their new Small Animal Carefresh Complete food product line and fun4pets.com has the scoop.

Each food type is specially formulated depending on your pet's needs, meaning if you have a Cavy, also known as a Guinea Pig to you rookie Cavy owners, then you'll be happy to know that the Carefresh Complete Guinea Pig food is fortified with Vitamin C as well as being packed with Timothy hay, orchard grass, brome grass and alfalfa and of coarse supplemented with antioxidants critical to good health. Everything your awkward looking Cavy needs...come on you have to admit Guinea Pigs are awkward looking, I mean some of them have morning hair all the time.

And don't worry you bunny owners, Carefresh has you covered too. The Rabbit Carefresh Complete food is high in fiber and low in protein but just like the Guinea Pig food is has Timothy hay, orchard grass, and brome grass, and to help with your rabbit's teeth, it also includes dense, hard pellets for good dental health.

Carefresh has pretty much got you covered when it comes to taking care of your small animals so if you have a rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla, rat, mouse, or hamster you no longer have to worry about which food to get your furry friend.
