There is only one way you can truly know if your dog really loves you: Write a haiku about them and if they don't pee on the carpet in the middle of the night love is in the air. I know, I know, I'm sure you're thinking, "But I already wrote my dog a haiku and he still pees on the carpet, does that mean my dog doesn't love me?" The short answer: Yes. But it's probably because your haiku wasn't good enough. Go back, try again, and if your pup scratches the front door toward the lawn he's trying to show you that he loves you.
